# Create a hosted match

> Reserved endpoint for future hosted cigar matching.

This authenticated route is reserved for hosted cigar matching. It currently returns `501 Not Implemented` and does not consume a billable usage unit.

Use [cigar text resolution](/developer-api/endpoints/resolve-cigar) for deterministic ranked candidates today.
